The Lord my God walks beside me each day
As I watch my actions and the things I say
Once I surrender my entire life to him
God washes away each and every sin
I’m made renewed through His Holy water
As I walk alongside my Heavenly Father
For the Lord my God knows the trials and tests that I face
As he saved by His everlasting grace
I am no longer where I used to be
As I rebuke Satan’s name against me
Lord my God fill my heart with truth and love
Flying free like the precious wings of a dove
Dear Father, I trust you with every part of me
Help me up when I fall upon my knees
Stand me strong upon the Holy Land ground
I’m no longer lost as in only in you I’m found
Thank you God for your son’s precious birth
As no one can measure against your great worth
You’ve found a home within my heart
Full of light, and warmth and removing all dark
Show me the way Lord my God to abide by you
By reading your word that is strong and true
Take away each of my hurts and pain
Give me strength that only I can obtain
Show me how to love my brother
How to love and forgive another
Life’s too short to be full of anger
As Satan’s game is full of danger
Thank you God for wiping every tear
Providing me comfort through my every fear
I can face anything as long as I follow you
Help me Lord my God in all I do
