Many years ago Christ our Saviour was born
His purpose was to come and save those here on earth whose hearts were torn
No one’s role would fill his shoes
Not me, not anyone, not even you
His majesty is like no other
As he was a special gift from our Heavenly Father
Christ Our Saviour is more special than any other
Since I gave my life completely over to Him
He came to bore and remove my every sin
God saved me by coming deep into my heart
He destroyed all sadness & a life filled with dark
Thank you Christ our Saviour for giving us the cross
By rescuing me from where I once was lost
Christ our Saviour now fills my life
Shining ever so gloriously bright
You gave me beauty within a flash
As I traded you for all my ashes
My life is new and filled with joy
All because of this tiny perfect boy
With each step, I move forward without looking back
Only if I obey him on his narrow path
My life is no longer an ugly mess
But when I slip up I must confess
Christ our Saviour has blessed me with a unique story
For me to share and celebrate his glory
Thank you, Lord, for all you’ve done
And for sending us your only son
It’s because of you I’ve been renewed
As long each day I abide by you
No one is perfect but only Him
So stop comparing your life with him
Live your life with the light he has given you
By shouting out his amazing news
Look ahead, no turning back
Unless you plan to fall off his track
But if you do, he’ll give you a hand
To help you up so you can stand
I look forward to my life with you forever
The cord to Satan to which you severe
I stand up strong alongside you
As you assemble the pieces with your mighty glue
Lifted high in Jesus’s name
Christ our Saviour took the cross and bore my shame
I raise my voice to worship you
Give me rest Lord in all I do
Three days later you rose to Heaven above
By sacrificing us with your unending love
I praise you Lord before I eat and sleep
No longer do I wander like a lost poor sheep
